This is a simple web app that was made for ranchers in Russia and Kazakhstan, but since it’s in English as well, I thought I’d share it and see if it would be of use to anyone here.

What does it do: It generates the record, in .csv format, of a calving. This can be shared and used in a spreadsheet, or imported to another program later.

What device does it work on: It will work on any device with a browser. It works best on Android devices, or on PC’s, but I’ve used it on iphone as well.

Do I need an account: No, there’s no account, no subscription, no data tracking, no cloud storage, no AI assistant. It’s just a good old fashioned tool you can use. There is a link to my websites on the bottom of the opening page.

How do I use it: In settings you can adjust some items and turn some fields off if you dont need them.
In history, you can review past calves download, and delete records.
When you hit “New Calf” you’ll be promped to fill in the fields and then hit save and the recod will be entered and you’ll get a csv file to save. You can “go back” or just enter new info for another new calf.
One thing to note is that you must have info in all fields except for notes. If you dont need one of the ID fields, just turn it off in settings, dont leave it blank.

How do I get the data: Each time you generate a calving record, a .csv file will be generated and saved to your device. You can then share this file by email, text message, or messenger. This is a key feature of the app, we wanted to generate a record, and then send it by telegram to the office.

The app does store all the calves entered, and you can download a copy of this anytime. Clearning cookies on your browser deletes this record though, so it’s not intended for long term use in this way.

Each record is a complete record of all calves entered, not just the most recent. But inside the record, there is the dates of everything so it’s really easy to sort and combine records.

I recommend sending this data off your phone as soon as possible. The app is not for long term data storage, and your phone is a bad place to keep data too! There’s no cloud backup function.

Does it synchronize across devices: Short answer is no, it does not.
Slightly longer answer is that because it’s really easy to combine files in a spreadsheet, you dont really need to synch between devices. Just generate the files, then copy/paste the data where you need it and it’s done.

How do I install it on my phone: Scan the QR code. It’ll bring up the app in your browser. In your menu (3 dots) you have the option to download. When you do this you should have the option to “install the app” or “add to home screen” It might be a little different on iphone, or on other browsers. But you can search online for how to install web apps, it’s not too complicated.

Now you’ll have an app that looks like any other. It opens in your browser and runs like any other app on your phone. Keep in mind that when you clear cookies on your browser, the records stored in the app will be deleted, but the .csv files generated by it wont be affected.

Is it available on play store or app store: No. I dont want to deal with the hassle of it and I dont want to make money from it, so no, it’s not.

Is my data safe??? No, not really.
It’s an experemental app provided for free by a corral designer.
I can’t see see any of the infomation you enter, I can only see how many people downloaded the app
The data is all stored on your device and downloaded in totally open formats.
There’s no accounts or payment information on the app.
There’s no backups besides the .csv file that’s generated.
The whole thing has been made for usability, not security.

How do I made money off this?
I dont, this has been a huge boondoggle.
